Curating Your Family Story is a program created by the Breman Museum in Atlanta in partnership with Beit Hatfutsot Museum of the Jewish People in Israel. This 2018 program engaged 5th and 6th-grade students from Congregation Shearith Israel and led them on a search into their own pasts. Curating Your Family Story stems from My Family Story, a worldwide Jewish heritage program, and competition, now celebrating its 23rd year.  The search, interpreted artistically, connected students to their family stories and to the greater narrative of Jewish heritage.  The exploration of each student’s personal histories, genealogies, and traditions culminated in this exhibition.
