Bearing Witness: The Holocaust Through the Eyes of Children
This 45-minute audiovisual presentation brings a Breman museum educator into your classroom and is an ideal introduction to the Holocaust for middle school students and older.
Gentle in its approach but powerful in its message, Bearing Witness traces the Holocaust’s origins, realization and aftermath through photographs and oral testimonies of Holocaust survivors who were children during that time and who have since made their homes in the Atlanta area.
This program provides excellent preparation for a field trip to The Breman and/or a subsequent discussion with a Holocaust survivor. Invite Bearing Witness into your classroom and enrich your unit on the Holocaust.
