Urban Genealogy - Finding your Ancestors in the City

A unique project is planned for the Jewish Genealogical Society of Georgia together with the Georgia Genealogical Society, the Cobb County Genealogy Society, and the African American Historical and Genealogical Society.

Paul K. Graham, genealogist, historical researcher, and archivist for the DeKalb History Center will lead a workshop in Urban Genealogy - Finding your Ancestors in the City. Participants are encouraged to choose any of the actual personalities involved with the Leo Frank case and research their backgrounds.

We will meet again on Sunday, September 14 from 1-3pm, to share our research and to put the Frank trial into its historical context.

If you are interested in researching one of the trial participants, please contact Peggy Freedman by e-mail at peggyf@mindspring.com or by phone, 770-396-1645.

The cost of regular meetings for non-members will be $5 for the meeting only, or $10 for meeting and Museum admission, payable at the door. Meetings are free for member of The Breman.
