The Jewish Cemetery Association of Georgia is an organization that has been newly established under the auspices of The Breman with the following objectives as its mission:

To establish a single source for information on all cemeteries and burial sites in Georgia used for the internment of members of the Jewish faith. |

• |
To catalogue the location of the graves and dates of death of Jews buried at those sites. |
|
• |
To assist in providing maintenance, restoration, and perpetual care in locations where needed. |
|
• |
To promote a central organization that will provide communication, planning, and other services to those Jewish cemeteries and/or communities in need of professional help. |
|
• |
To locate, rehabilitate, and provide protection for those Jewish burial sites which may have already been abandoned. |
| • | To maintain and keep current the database of Jews who die or are buried in Georgia. |
