Unforgettable Stories from the Holocaust

Bearing Witness - Unforgettable Stories from the Holocaust

WHAT: Bebe Forehand, Holocaust survivor from Belgium will tell her story of resilience.

WHEN: SUNDAY NOV 6 | Tour begins at 12:30 and speaker begins at 2:00PM

COST: Admission is free.

Like Anne Frank, Bebe Forehand was hidden away from the Nazis in an attic. A friend brought food, books and materials to read during the months while her family was in hiding. As a result, her mother, father, grandfather and brother were all able to survive the Holocaust.

Free guided tour of the Holocaust Gallery will be at 12:30 PM. Tours are capped at 60 persons in total. They are on a first-come, first-served basis. While the tour is in session, the Holocaust Gallery will be closed from 12:30 - 2 PM.

For the Bearing Witness Program, doors to the auditorium open at 1:30 PM. The speaker will begin at 2:00PM.

Complimentary parking is available at the museum (with free overflow parking available nearby.)

COVID Protocols: For the protection of our speaker and guests, masks are strongly recommended while in the building.

This program is presented by The Weinberg Center for Holocaust Education at The Breman Museum and community partner Eternal Life - Hemshech.

Free admission to the 2022-23 Bearing Witness series is provided through a generous gift from The Rich Foundation.
