Event Details

Join us for an inspiring afternoon of tours, a special curator lecture and Q&A, zine making, and Israeli cuisine. All events are FREE and exclusive to all Breman Museum members.

At 2:00 PM the curators of the Breman’s current exhibition, Vedem Underground: The Secret Magazine of Terezin, Rina Taraseiskey and Danny King, share the incredible story of a secret society of teenage boys who set out to defy the Third Reich and became the symbols of creative activism across the globe.

    Join us for a tour of Congregation Or Ve Shalom, the first Sephardic synagogue in Atlanta, celebrating its 100 anniversary. The name Sephardi means "Spanish" or "Hispanic", derived from Sepharad, a Biblical location.

    Puppetry & Acting: Bringing Characters to Life

    This Lunchtime Culture event is Presented by the Center for Puppetry Arts at the Alliance Theatre. Each lunchtime culture event pairs two midtown Atlanta sites for a conversation, performance, or tour experience from a fresh perspective. Programs begin at 12 noon, are FREE, and last approximately 30 minutes (with time to explore the venue after the program). Lunch is not included with program.

    Bearing Witness: Henry Birnbrey (Germany)

    Henry Birnbrey was brought to the United States on a special mission to rescue Jewish children. Years later, Henry would return to Germany as an American GI, serving with the forces that stormed the beaches of Normandy. He was among the first American eyewitnesses to the devastation of the Nazi concentration camps. What he saw would change his life forever.

    Bagels at The B

    In honor of this season of thanks, we would like to invite Breman Members to bring their friends and family, free of charge, to the museum.* We will be serving bagels and light refreshments all day. *To receive free admission, all non-member visitors must be accompanied by a current Breman member.
