ATLANTA COLLECTS celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Breman Museum by highlighting diverse pieces from Jewish collectors in and around Atlanta. The goal of the exhibition is to showcase the breadth and depth of Jewish-owned collections in Atlanta. The two-part exhibition features seldom-seen works by Edgar Degas, Pablo Picasso, Edouard Manet, Marsden Hartley, Mary Cassatt, Andrew Wyeth and many others.

Current Exhibitions

  • Inescapable : The Life and Legacy of Harry Houdini

    Harry Houdini wasn’t born. He was invented. Inescapable explores the creation of Houdini by the poor Jewish immigrant, Ehrich Weiss, with a look at the technologies, marketing prowess, and entertainment trends that allowed a superstar to emerge. Inescapable: The Life and Legacy of Harry Houdini was created by the Jewish Museum of Maryland.

  • Absence of Humanity : The Holocaust Years, 1933-1945

    This permanent exhibition presents the history of the Holocaust through artifacts and stories of Atlanta area Holocaust Survivors.

    Magical Mondays

    Do you want to learn some awesome magic? This summer at the Breman you'll have your chance! Every week a staff member or a visiting guest magician will perform and teach magic that you can do using items you have around the house. All ages welcome!

  • April 26th, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

    CLOSED for Passover

    The Breman Museum will be closed for Passover on Friday, April 26 and re-open on Sunday, April 28th.
