The newly installed exhibition will come to life and extend from the museum gallery into the event space through a series of vignettes. These high-energy, engaging performances will introduce guests to these Luminaries ... whose stories are part of the exhibition... they are revealing, meaningful and inspiring. Character actors will be in costume accurately reflecting a time long ago.

LIVE PERFORMANCES!

At this special celebration throughout the Selig Center will be live, interactive performances carefully choreographed to reveal extraordinary stories that are prominently featured in HISTORY WITH CHUTZPAH. Local actors will portray some of these fascinating and brave individuals, referred to as Luminaries, who most definitely showed some chutzpah. Guests will first “meet’ these individuals during their tour and then see first-hand how the exhibition comes to life as it extends from the museum gallery into the event space through a series of vignettes - short, descriptive scenes. These will be high-energy, engaging performances that will respectfully honor our Luminaries, renowned for their influence on the Jewish experience. The stories that are carefully captured in the exhibition are revealing, meaningful and inspiring. The actors will be in character throughout the evening and costumed accurately to reflect a time long ago.

We proudly welcome you to ...
