Biographical/Historical Note Jacob A. Blumberg was born in 1889. In 1913, he married Miriam Saul. They had two daughters and a son, Marvin. Jacob was a retired partner of Briarcliff Mills where he had been a salesman for 55 years. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Masons, the Shriners and the King Solomon Lodge No. 460 in Birmingham.

Scope and Content Researchers studying the Blumberg Family Papers will gain insight into Jewish life in Atlanta during the first part of the 20th century. All material is arranged in alphabetical order and chronologically within each folder.
