Summary/Abstract:  Sidney Greenblatt was the son of Samuel and Bessie Greenblatt.  He was the vice president in charge of production for Montag Bros. Inc. from the early 1940s until the 1960s. The collection consists primarily of records from his tenure as plant manager at Montag Bros. Inc.

Biographical/Historical Note:  Montag Brothers was an Atlanta manufacturing and distribution company of school supplies, established in 1889 by Sigmund Montag and his four brothers.  After the Great Depression, the company launched a marketing promotion resulting in millions of Blue Horse trademarks redeemed for cash and prizes; by 1950, Montag Bros. was one of the largest companies of its industry.

Scope and Content:  Researchers studying the Sidney Greenblatt Family Papers will gain insight into Jewish business in Atlanta, Georgia. All material is arranged alphabetically by subject and chronologically within each folder.
