Biographical/Historical Note The collection consists of the minutes of this foundation from its inception in 1961 to its incorporation as a supporting foundation of the Atlanta Jewish Federation now known as the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.  This foundation was founded in 1961 to distribute funds devoted exclusively to the causes of charity, education, and religion within the United States.

Scope and Content Researchers studying the Joseph B. and Lena B. Jacobs Trust Foundation Records will gain insight into the inner workings of charitable organization in Atlanta, Georgia. All material is arranged alphabetically by subject and chronologically within each folder.
