Summary/Abstract:  A native of Atlanta, Irwin Krick was a World War II veteran, active in the Jewish community, and the owner of a grocery store. His papers contain correspondence, military documents, certificates, and material from his activities in the Jewish community.

Biographical/Historical Note:  Irwin Krick was born in Atlanta in 1914. He attended Atlanta Public Schools and was involved in the Zionist youth organizations like B’nai B’rith and Aaronean Club. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He owned a grocery store that was part of the Associated Grocer Co-op, Inc. He passed away in 1993.

Scope and Content:  Researchers studying the Irwin Krick papers will gain insight into military service during World War II and Jewish life in Atlanta, Georgia. The papers are arranged in alphabetical order by subject and chronologically within each folder.
