Biographical/Historical Note Sholom Iteld was a survivor of the Holocaust who immigrated to the U.S. in 1955 with his wife Eva. They owned a very small store in downtown Atlanta. Their daughter eventually married Stanley M. Baum who ran for a seat in the House of Representatives in 1976.

Scope and Content Researchers studying the Sholom Iteld Family Papers will gain insight into the Holocaust, Jews in politics, and Jewish life in Atlanta, Georgia. The papers are arranged in alphabetical order by subject and chronologically within each folder.
