Biographical/Historical Note:  Etz Chaim was established in the fall of 1975 to meet the needs of the expanding needs of the expanding Jewish community of north metropolitan Atlanta. It is affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. It offers religious activities, education, youth groups, and community activities to its members.

Scope and Content:  Researchers studying the Etz Chaim (Atlanta, Ga.) records will gain insight into conservative Judaism and the formation of a congregation in Atlanta, Georgia.
