Biographical/Historical Note:  Sam Goldstein was born in Russia and immigrated to the United States in 1894, settling in Atlanta, Georgia. He married Golda Goldstein and they had three daughters: Rosa, Pearl, and Mollie. Pearl was born in Kobrin, Poland, but Rosa and Mollie were born in Atlanta. They were members of Ahavath Achim Synagogue and hold a family plot at Greenwood Cemetery.

Scope and Content:  Researchers studying the Sam Goldstein Family Papers will gain insight into an immigrant Jewish family living in Atlanta, Georgia. The papers include birth and death certificates, immigration documents, newspaper clippings, and correspondence.
