Biographical/Historical Note: This collection was created by the Savannah Jewish Archives during their association with the Georgia Historical Society.  The collection includes miscellaneous programs, directories and journals published by various organizations in Savannah, including Congregations Agudath Achim, B’nai B’rith Jacob, and Mickve Israel; the Jewish Educational Alliance and Jewish-owned businesses including Solomon Drugs and local schools.  Notable manuscripts include The Sheftall Diaries: Vital Records of Savannah Jewry and   An American, A Sailor and A Jew: The Life and Career of Commodore Uriah Phillips Levy, USN (1792-1862)

Scope and Content: Researchers examining the Savannah Jewish Archives Pamphlet Collection will gain historical insight into the social and religious lives of the Savannah Jewish Community.
