Biographical/Historical Note: The Benator family, originally from the Isle of Rhodes and Turkey, emigrated to the Atlanta area around the First World War. They were very active in the Or VeShalom Congregation. Isaac Benator and Mary Galanti had several children including Morris and Asher. Morris later married Zelda Cadranel, whose family emigrated to Atlanta from Constantinople in the early 1900s. Asher later married Grace Levy.

Scope and Content: This collection contains papers, legal documents, photos and correspondence pertaining to the Benator family of Fulton county, Georgia.
