The Museum Library

The Breman Museum’s Library houses an extensive collection of both primary and secondary sources related to Southern Jewish History and Holocaust Education. This Jewish history library actively loans educational resources such as maps, posters, and a wide array of books and films. However, periodicals, city directories, and rare books must be viewed in house under staff supervision.

Please note that while admission to our library and archives is free, guests utilizing these resources must pay museum admission before viewing any exhibitions

We also strongly encourage making an appointment with our archives department if you expect to utilize our Library or Archives during your museum visit by filling out the below form.
