Curating Your Family Story: Exhibition Opening and Community Event

NEW EXHIBITION OPENING

Join the Breman Museum as we celebrate the opening of Curating Your Family Story.
Curating Your Family Story is an initiative begun last year by the Breman Museum in partnership with Beit Hatfutsot, the Museum of the Jewish people, based on the enduring My Family Story initiative.

Now in its 22nd year, My Family Story is a fun-filled, meaningful, personal, global, and multigenerational Jewish heritage journey, where the exploration of one’s Jewish family roots, genealogy and traditions culminates in an artistic piece that is entered into an international competition.

Opening Day Event Schedule:
Starts at 2:00pm, runs until 4:00pm (Although Gallery will be open normal operating hours)
2:15 - Welcome remarks by Rabbi Joe Prass and Ghila Sanders, representing the Breman Museum
2:25 - Remarks by Emet Ozar, Director of Education at Congregation Bet Haverim
2:30 - Screening of video produced for the exhibition by Ori Salzberg
2:40 - Interactive Program, appropriate for the entire family, led by Isabel Schneider
